In 2007 he dropped “MO Betta 0.5″ possibly one of the sickest mixtapes from the areas artist.  During that mixtape Mouse was attending North Carolina A&T. A very agrovating period in his life Mouse expressed how he felt about life on campus in the song, “The Aggie Experience” where he stated, “…Instead, I just get a bad attitude/ Teacher says she wants my hat removed/ What that got to do w/ my learning abillity/ the girls in the class ain’t feelin’ me/”. With a new mixtape coming this summer, corny as this may sound….Mouse tryna get that cheese. (laughs)

Mouse:(Mouse is Being Modest…) Well….i haven’t done much. I released an internet mixtape called MO Betta Vol. 0.5. I’ve done a couple a tracks for my bro, Azizi Gibson’s mixtape Music is Porn. I’ve done some tracks for my bro, NandoMcFlyy aka McFries Mc Shake and Bakes mixtape called S.N.E.S. June 13th. GET IT ASAP WHEN IT DROPS!….um i’ve been featured in GCC, GrungeCake Crisis Online Mag….and…….the most important fact…..I work at Target in LaPlata, Md. (Laughs)

NandoMcFlyy: (Dies Laughing) What if I told you that you were one of the DMV’s most anticipated to drop a mixtape? How would that make you feel? Cause in all honesty MO Betta came out in November? Dudes are amp’d to see what else it is you have to say…

Mouse: Shut the fuck up. (laughs)…..I would die. You know i feel like i live in a lil bubble, like that movie bubble boy? I cant touch shit in the outside world. I feel like…Well…Its hard to explain. In my city, Hip Hop is kind of sheltered. Like a stepchild u keep in the basement or something. There is no real artist out my city who makes a lasting impression or impact on Hip Hop to where people say damn I wanna hear more from that guy. I feel like im sick. like really. But im not the type to go around and be like, “Listen to my shit!” I could care less….And it shocks me to know that people wanna hear more from a self preserved type of guy. But to answer the question fully….i would be shocked. I would ask you to name five people or i get to throw you into a tub of stale cereal with spoiled milk.

NandoMcFlyy: (Laughs) alright sick guy…since Wale is now signed, do you feel that there’s hope for the underground dudes such as us?

Mouse: First off i must raise the roof right quick, because dude is fucking shit up right now….like dude is on a search and destroy mission. (Laughs) But really, I always felt there was hope. It was just a matter of who it was gonna be. I’m proud of Wale and Tabi for forcing people to pay attention to a different culture a different world.

Mouse: Hip Hop is going to turn into slavery underground Slavery…

Mouse: we are taking no prisoners us Metropolitan artists don’t care what the hip hop world views what hip hop is. We have our own feelings and emotion and meaning for hip hop. And we continue to show it constantly in our music and the world will follow. Same way Gangster rap took over the world  the DMV will bring individuality and change the game. Watch.

NandoMcFlyy: I feel you bro..so with you new mixtape coming out. How will you show your growth and will this be worth the wait?

Mouse: Well honestly….I’m trying to get a little more emotional on this one like more tracks expressing my feelings instead of the constant ranting you hear me doing it’s no where near finished so i’m not promising anything right now…it’s kinda a suprise cause hell I don’t even know what twists and turns are waiting for me. (Laughs)
